Ryder Cup 2016: US wins from Europe and regains Ryder Cup with 17 to 11

The 41st Ryder Cup Matches took place between 30 September and 2 October, and were held at Hazeltine National Golf Club, in Chaska, Minnesota, United States.

This year the winner is the United States after Europe won in 2010, 2012 and 2014. It was about time that the Ryder Cup returned to the US. First day foursome matches were totally led by the United States, but the fourball matches were led by Europe. Day two brings more victories to the US, and last day Ryan Moore sealed its success.
United States dominated the matches from the final day singles. Patrick Reed defeated Rory McIlroy, Rickie Fowler beat Justin Rose, and Ryan Moore beat Lee Westwood and secured Ryder Cup for the United States.

Below you can see Ryan Moore who sealed the victory for US with two-putts No. 18.

What followed next at the end of the matches was, of course, a closing ceremony. US captain Davis Love gave a beautiful speech giving thanks to Europe captain Darren Clarke and his team. And of course, at the end of the ceremony the winners sprayed champagne all over the stage and the ceremony attendees.
